Need to have two new gaskets put on the SEA-STAR stearing, and have the power tilt an trim looked at Good new is they told me they will have it to me by Friday!!! PIER 1 Marine in Duncan Oklahoma They have a couple of Chargers on their showroom floor. A 596 Foxfire and a 496. Damn nice boats. They have some cutting edge technology on their livewell systems! yea they are built here in richland MO but they arent a ChampioN
my Brother in law had a '96 195 with a 200hp evinrude and that was a big pig as far as speed goes and dosent ride near as well in the rough stuff as the Champ nice boats and some neat features but it aint no ChampioN

Whats wrong with a Charger? I've been around a few and there build pretty well.....Seen them runnin on Milford a couple times with nice 30 mph winds and seem to do just fine in that department .....Look very similar to a Champion bhut I know they are different in other manners. The 596 is HUGE by comparison but both the 396 and 496 are best all around boats with 225's on them.

I actually considered a 176 Charger 4 years ago but couldnt find a reputable dealer in this area that had one to look at.......that 17.5' boat is rated for a 150 that thing would scream I think

Dont get me wrong I love a new 200 or a 210, but I was brought up right and dont put myself in finanacial binds that I can prevent..... Thats why I keep pefectly good trucks and cars for damn near 10 years. I own a home that we rent out ( still have a mortagage on it) can you imagine what would happen If I had it unrented for more than 4 months? That would mean I would have to sell my new 200/210. Wasnt brought up that way.. My father always said you take care of hard times first...Then you play!!!! pretty sound advice from a guy who didn't do much mentoring to me growing up.
