got on lake at 11:30 pulled of at 4:00,, damn ling weather man, wind blew upwards of 20 MPH from N/NW,, couldn't get anything going the first hour.. finally caught a whittie on a spinner bait, along the retainer wall water temp was 75.. finally moved over on the east bank where the wind was beating on it caught a dink on a rattle trap.. moved on down the bank ,, found a place where the water was 5' a few feet from bank with a flat on each end of it.. the little stretch wa only about 50 yards long . 1 st to LM came on cranks and then i started slow rolling the spinner bait and started catching them... ended up catching 1 dink and 8 nice LM ( 2 - 2 1/2 pounds ) and 3 whites ( 2 pound range ) for the day .. sure beat working...we'll see what the rest of the week brings
