GOOD AND NEWS and BAD NEWS
Ok here the GOod News there is none
the bad news i still going to IRAQ next year
the Worst news is the motor on the astro is SHOT
Blown #3 and Almost the #5
so now the shop here said a new powerhead and installed for 5200
so now it going to sit till i get back and then replace the head and or replace the motor
DAMMMMMMMMMM this sux

i feel for you man, just got mine back a couple of weeks ago.. $3000 plus... Mike has a 98 150 fast strike for 3 Grand,, wish i would of know about it a couple of months ago.... so how's the world treating you ..
it not bad here
did not do much fishing this year due to training and money but i think i might try and pick up a 4 stroke when i get back but that just a thought
need to get rid of these dang bills first

I bet Mike would make you a great deal on his 150. Might be a an economical way to go. You could get it shipped to you pretty easy. Little less power, but compared to not being on the water, it's a good alternative. You might be able to part your motor out and recoup $800 to $1000 by selling the lower unit, prop, powerhead, cowling etc... piece by piece. Just a thought.
That might noe be a bad Idea........150 Faststrike might work OK on that Astro.....might not go as fast for it's weight but atleast you'd still get on the water
well i going to hold off till i get back from IRAQ .
3 month before redeploying i will start to shop for a power head or a replacement Motor
i like to see abuot a 175 4stroke
