got this one on our farm on saturday evening. I was glad to see that all of us got a buck this year...all the deer scored well over 150 B&C points
Left to right....My deer, my brother's deer (13 points) and my dad's deer(10 point)

thats prty cool now whats the ATV or whatever it is in the back ground of the second pic
Damn Tyson. Pretty nice deer.
How many acres do you have on your farm? Must be quite a few to hold 3 bucks that size this time of year. The one I shot was definitely in the rut still. I hunted for 2.5 days and he was the only buck I saw (on this land I watched a 12 and a 10 lock up in the neighbors land though (GD purple posts)). My eight was preparing to tear up a yearling doe.
I am thinking I am going to do some serious land managment this year on our farm. Put in some alfalfa plots and get the minerals and salt out ASAP. Clear some trees out and make it flow better. Have 450 acres to work with so hopefully I will have something to brag about in the next couple years. Dad is going to skin me when he catches me planting some trees or tall native grass on the terraces on one of his meadows. I am tired of road hunters plinking my deer. Want to give them some cover.
Very nice. They look like brothers.![]()

We've had it slow up this way. We didn't get the snow, only ice and the deer were not moving in the ice. I got a doe and Dennis did also. Hope to finish up this week. Great deer Tyson

Yeah the snow definitely helped me out. Really funneled the deer into the creeks. The full moon didn't help too much though. Alot of feeding at night brought on road hunters that hurt my herd pretty severely.
Deer would start moving about 2-3 in the afternoon and were done long before sunup. All I saw in the mornings were bobcats and coyotes. Rolled a coyote at about 300 yards with my '06. I counted 11 of them Saturday morning I guess now they have something to munch on.
Think I will head back in January to take out the rest of them.

Great deer! I still haven't seen a buck with horns yet, maybe this next weekend will be my turn.
