    60 degree or 90 degree

I got a 2001 johnson 175. J175plsif. Is it a 60 or 90 degree? Are the referring to the angle of the cylinders? If so I would guess mine is a 60

    60. Last year for the 90 degree (x-flow) 175 was 10 years prior (1991)

Thank you. Is that based on the angle of the cylinders? That may be a dumb question. I just want to know why they call them 60 or 90.

Relationship of the centerline of the crankshaft to the cylinders.

it is the angle of the bores compared to crank centerline as stated.a right angle is 90.
