Ive heard of the Johnson/Evinrude carb'ed v4s being loopers. What does it mean? WOuld my 2000 Yamaha v4 115 be a "looper" also?

its just a term used to discribe how the fuel charge is routed through the engine.older models are cross flow and then loop charged on omc motors.loopers have a bulged or rounded back half on the case i beleive.dont know about yams
