    1976 Johnson 115 , tilt does not work..

    This motor goes up but will not drop down. Does anyone have any ideas on what I may try?

    Yep try a 1977 Johnson 115 parts catalog it has everything you need. OMC didn't make a 1976 115. You need to put a meter on the solenoid and check for power on the up and down sides. Could be something simple as the switch.
