i hear that, went up to 3.05 today. ... i'm working up a new load for my Quarter bore ( 25-06 ) and i'm going to call it THE TOWEL HEAD EXPRESS .... and if the stuff goes up much more .. i'm going to open season , with no bag limit ,, and you can bait them if you want too

well worth the drive had 12-14 over 2 lbs 6 over 3 lbs 1 that should of weighted 4 -4 1/2 but was really skinny and one that would push the 5 pound mark and a ton off little ones if you want to go on fridays or saturdays le tme know I go with ya

i think they will take it this year, i bet there $ were down this year,, sunday we were the only boat on the water, for the first 2 hours.. when we left around 1pm there were 3 boats and 6 bank fishermen... a year ago there would of been 10 boats and 20 bank fishermen.. i think everyone is going to the free lakes.. it's 4 bucks a day to fish YC or 22 dollars a year but for that $ you can fish both lakes.. south owl ( the one in town ) has bigger fish in it, just not as many.... we do our kid fishing tournament in a rearing pond , that is stocked with some Big cats... almost 22 lbs for big fish this year.. it was only 18 lbs last year and averaged 6 1/4 pounds for 179 channel cats

That would be nice, it is a neat little lake, as I said haven't been there for couple of years, but it was fun to fish. We may just have to have our own little derby
