Saturday Krissy caught her first buzzbait fish after about 5 minutes of being on the water. She only had two, I caught 6 but the scrappy 18" buzzbait fish was the biggest we had and so much fun for her that after she put it in the boat she said she could go home nowI did see WillyH20 and Sclark out and heard tell of a 4 pounder for one and a 5 pounder for the other, but without photographic evidence, I'm just not buying it.

Glad someone is able to catch a bass on buzzbait......Not sure what my problem is but EVERY time I use a buzzbait I NEVER get a strike......must be my technique......I threw a buzz yesterday AM as sun broke over around wooded cover and not 1 fish hit it

Congrat's Krissy - nice looking fish..
I threw the blades off a buzz bait saturday morning and only caught one dink with it. Caught a few more alongs the nothing looking banks with chatter bait, WillyH2O had a few more on spinnerbait.
then we started fishing the flooded timber with plastics, and had a great time WillyH20 had one that weighed in at 5.05 and we both had several more that went 4+ not to mention another dozen that were between 2 and 3lbs.
We watched the weigh in for the tournament that was taking place, 1st place was 18.5# and it looked like 2nd was 16.5#.
Had great time... Hope everyone else did to..

Steve & I had a great day on the water too. We both caught a bunch of nice fish, with my best being that 5.05. Caught her on the secret lure in the secret honey hole nobody else ever fishes at Mozingo.
Got the boat home & started to clean it up when I found mold in the carpeted sponson boxes. Must have put it away wet after the last tx 2 weeks ago. Got it scrubbed out so hopefully no harm. Yuck.
