    Canada

We'll, we're leaving for a week's fishing in Canada today. By this time tomorrow I'll be sitting on Big Canon Lake, pulling walleyes & smalmouths & the occasional northern.

I'll check back in next week.

Better take some pictures. Have a safe trip and sore mouth as many of those buggers as you can.

I've been up there twice and can't wait to get back. I love eating the walleye and catching the northern

Those two activities rank right up there with sex.

Never caught a northern and have never eaten a walleye but I'm guessing I wouldn't go as far as saying that.

If you would have made an appearance at the Mini Rally you could have had some walleye Duff.

I think I would rather have sex than eat walleye. I guess I would rather eat brown bass than walleye as well.

OK, Michael, you can put down the crack pipe now. There is no way a smallmouth is better than a walleye and you should be struck down with a bolt of lightning for even uttering such blasphemy.

OK, Now I know you're trying to get a rise out of me, but that statement right there is worse than swearing in church. In fact, there should be an 11th commandment of Thou shalt not eat smallmouth.

    Re: Canada (Duff)

Never. I do admit to deliberately killing one smallmouth in my life, which is the one mounted sitting in my den.

I might be able to overlook that.

    Re: Canada (Duff)

Had quite a few largemouth over the years, but they have come from ponds that are over populated. I've never taken one out of a reservoir. They're just too precious of a resource that I wouldn't feel right doing it.

Yeah I've taken a good number out in farm ponds that the fish are all the same size. I've also never taken a keeper out of a lake. Partly due to how rare it is that I catch one.
