I'm not sure Jimmie. I've never thrown a finesse rig.

Me neither, but someone said you could buy about any small soft plastic, throw it in a jighead, and catch fish???

16 oz equals a pound. Doesn't sound like a finesse rig to me. Dead Sticking is a term used for any lure that you impart no action to. Just let it sit as long as possible without twitching it. Typically used in clear water also, like Table Rock, Bull Shoals etc... a 1/8 ounce shaky head jig head and any small finesse worm of your choice. Look at Spotsticker baits, Zoom finesse worms, or any number of hand pours. Alabamalakes and Custom outdoors carry good ones & they are BBC sponsors. WillyH20 uses a little 4" worm called a "meat head" and does well with them. Check out these links.
