Depends on State laws... I dont register my boat in the new state until the old one expires.. the trailer may be different however... for instance I live in OK but my KS boat registration doesnt end till 08 I beleive.. so i will leave KS stickers on it until then... I think in TX you are supposed to change registration within 90 days but how would anyone know..?? when I moved from ohio i didnt register my boat in tx until the Ohio registration ran out.. I could be wrong but ive been checked by DNR ( department of natural resources) at several different places and never got questioned.. for all they know you are on vacation
