    Greetings KS Anglers!

I am new to the boards and glad to see that KS is represented. I live in Erie, KS. one of my favorit things to do is catch smallies at Big Hill, and tournament fish. If any of you like smallies, believe me that the next smallie state record can come from Big Hill, I have seen several over 5, and at least 2 at just over 6 during tourneys. Look forward to hearing from everybody and sharing info.

sounds like a plan, have you ever fished the thayer city lakes? They have some great bass fishing! they often get overlooked. Email me at CrownJTackle.com and we'll see what we can get scheduled.

Leave it to a guy from Erie to ruin the one good thing left in Thayer.

Cant be THAT big of a secret, I mean look at the people who responded. some how I doubt that boats will be waiting to put in with a line down the road. god forbid we actually meet on the water at some point. Also, I am primarily a tournament angler, and the way I see it, if you have professionals fishing it, then the better it will be in the long run, as we have a tendency to take VERY good care of thos holes we fish for fun and practice!

Re: Greetings KS Anglers! (Crown J Tackle)

Being originally from Thayer I wish it was more of a fishing destination. Maybe it would help keep the town alive. Seem a little on edge there Crown? You know I met a guy on Thayer lake about 2-3 years ago. He said he was from Erie but I cant for the life of me remember his name or even what boat he was in. Thinking it was a Ranger but not sure. I remember talking about Wilson State Lake but thats about it. So maybe we have met on the water. Well sorry didnt mean to strike a nerve. Have a good day.
