Any one been fishing either of these lakes lately? Bullet3119 and myself are thinking about going there on Monday while we are off work. Neither of us have fished Green, and might as well jot have fished Barren, so any info or tips would be great.

Fished Barren Sunday, Water was pretty stained, 43 - 45 degrees in most places. Caught 3 keepers, had some friends down there as well catching dinks shallow on chunk rock banks.
talked to a guy thats been catching them really well on Green but said the water was fairly dirty and I'm sure this recent rain will really have muddied it up

thanks for the info on Green. We did end up going there and thought the lake looked good. But the weather changed faster than originally foretasted. Still we toughed it out and had a smooth ride in the 3-foot wavesI managed to catch 1 small LM bass on the floating fly and either a white bass on it too before the showers left. After the showers left nothing was biting.
I do see myself going back to this lake in the spring
