    KY Lake this weekend

Anyone think there is any lodging available anywhere for this weekend at this late of a date. If so, where should I check. Would like something on or close to water for the wife.

I am thinking of the same thing and camping at the LBL. I don't see that happening now. I found out my wife has to work Monday.

Was told that turnout was low this weekend, and KY Dam had some empty cabins.

Shoot, I went through Aurora each day, and the place looked like a ghost town....

Economy taking it's toll I guess?

They all were in Cypress bay.

ScoTt were you out in the big winds Sunday afternoon? My son said there were 40mph winds on the north end that washed a houseboat up on the rocks in Pisgah.

I was out there - playing around in Smith and Duncan mainly. Made our way in to Moors that evening for the fireworks. I saw the police and rescue squad near barge island - a boat had sunk over there. I never saw a houseboat up on the rocks though.

Winds didn't seem too bad to me, water was a little choppy.
