July 9-Aug 6 at Ft Knox, any suggestions?

I am coming to Ft Knox for some training. I am bringing a couple poles and some gear. Any one have any suggestions of local fishing spots. I found that the fort has about a dozen fishing spots within the fenceline. Looking for shore fishing spots. Could possibly rent a small boat from the MWR if needed.

I don't know if I have weekends off yet or not. If I do I will be looking for some open water to get on. I am more than willing to pay for gas and lunch to get out and catch some fish in KY.

    Thanks in advance.

Check out Otter Creek Park. I've been hearing good things about it.

Supposed to be some excellent wade fishing.

I am sorry for not getting back on here. I lost my father unexpectedly on fathers day. I am still planning on my Knox trip, just had a lot on my mind lately.

I hope to meet up with some of you guys and catch some fish to help with the healing!

Thanks guys, looking forward to fishing new water and learning something from whoever I meet.
