it was a zoo today just North of paris down to danville and add 15 + mph winds to it. i feel like i lifted weights with my legs today for 8 hours non stop running the trolling motor and trying not to fall at the same time

Not bad at all today I thought. The wind was more of an issue. It makes staying out on the ledges a mofo.
Well, how was the fishing? Are you finding large numbers on the drops yet or still a lot shallow?
There are some fish on the drops but not in numbers. A couple here a couple there. At best they are still making their way out to them and the ones that have made it there are scattered. With this hot weather they should group up real soon

That's what I am finding also I am catching better fish on points and channel banks right now.

The ledge fish are all chickens, the turkeys aren't there yet. The crowd wasn't an issue at all for me because I was out in the middle of the lake. I think most of them are in the bays. You just have to put in early and take out late to avoid them. We took out right at noon yesterday and it wasn't a painful experience either. Everyone seemed to know what they're doing.
