Quick question... does the engine have to come off the boat to do a reseal or complete replacement of the trim and tilt unit? Thanks

It depends on the motor. A cross flow it is easier to remove the motor than to struggle. On a 1991 and up looper with the fast trac trim/tilt you can remove it without pulling the motor. Just don't forget to disconnect the trim motor cable under the cowl. Then remove the spade connectors from the plug. That is on all TNT units.
By the way , its a 2005 e-tec 90 # E90DPLSOR ( If that makes a difference) It has a single ram system. It would be nice if it could be switched with the "dual" trim ram I had on my 2001 Johnnie that was flawless for years. Any thoughts- Thanks
