Any Ideal were to fish next year?

    Hi

I thought I would post this to get some ideals on a fishing trip for next year. Me and my 2 brothers tried to take our dad on a week long fishing trip each year, to a different lake, we like to catch bass, dad likes to catch anything.

We tried to go around the last of April. Weve been to Gunterville, Dale Hollow, Ky lake, Percy Preist, and Old Hickory.

I would like a place on a lake w/ a nice cabin, docks, at a decent price. If not on the lake a place close by. We want to be able to catch fish, have fun and make the old man happy. This year we took our mom and my 15 yr old son.

Green River Lake in Adair County. Definitley fishing very well the last few years. Ask for info on Holmes Bend Dock. Someone will have their number. I will say Green has been very good to me the last few years. Especially since Cumberlands been down. Good amount of fat & sassy Smallies, plenty of Spots & some very healthy & aggresive Largemouth & still fishing excellent at night right now too. I think you'd like it if you gave it a chance. Oh by the way don't forget Barren.

I agree with Les, can't go wrong with either Green or Barren.

Kentucky/Barkely in the spring would be a safe bet to put fish in the boat.

Wait a couple weeks and go to lake Erie! My brother goes every year first or second week of May. Tons of large Smallies. I'm going to make it one of these years.
