Moving Back To Louisville

Finally! I spent a year in this chit hole town and had enough! I never really found my stride here in Lexington personally or with business. I had success with the business and got things turned in the right direction, but didn't enjoy a second of it.

I first asked to come back with my current company who at first said "no" so I began looking elsewhere. The day I had my 1st interview with 1 company, my current company said they'd agree to have me back in Lou. I was torn for a bit but wanted to see what the new company had to offer.

Turns out it was better pay, company car, paid medical, much better bonus plan, etc...I can't turn it down. They sent the written offer today and my girlfriend got an offer today too that will have her making quite a bit more as well.

I just hope we can find a place to live in time but it's looking more and more like an extended stay and storage unit until we can find and close on a house.

I think Kyle is right about "get in where you fit in" You have to go where you feel is best for you. I feel the same about Louisville and Northern Ky. I might take a job in either one of those places but it would take a lot more money to get me to leave Lexington, and I probably wouldn't move, I would commute.

Yeah man....Been a while since I've seen one of those. Only we should skip the Hooters this time and check out that new place called "The Tilted Kilt". I've been hearing good things about that place!
