Runnin a 27" SRX at 6800, still had a lot to go and it wasn't even trimmed out yet. GPS 83.6. After I let off from this run and eased it down to around 5000 it let go.
Starboard side bottom piston has a hole clean through it. Still turns over easily by hand so it might just need a hone and a new piston. All the others are fine, EGT's were around 1000 and water pressure was at 15 PSI
It could have been a couple of things but I think it was that I was running 93 octane with an octane booster. I should have had at least 25% Av gas in it but I just haven't had time to get to the airport this week and I REALLY WANTED TO GO BOATING so I have only myself to blame.I will not do that again. Good news is that I still have the looper to put on it
Bad news is that it hasn't been painted yet and is butt dog ugly!
We have some photos of this run and you can see that the boat was still very wet, I am sure it will run near 100 once it is fixed and set up. I'll try to get them posted.
I put this on the Bullet forums too.
