Headed to Kentucky Lake next week. Some Questions

Hillmans a good campground for tents and shade?
Where is Jeta so I can get some "milkjug oil" ?
And last but not least where is the " cabin "
Father and son fishing trip, can't wait. Usually go to Guntersville this time of year and fish ledges but gonna hit the twins this year.

Almost forgot any open tournys we could get in Friday or Saturday ?

Both of those places are easy to find, they are right off of I 24. The cabin is about 2 1.5 miles off of the Eddyvile exit and Jetta is right off of the other exit for calvert city. A local will be along soon for the exit no.s but I just wanted to post that even for a non local (me) they're both very easy to find.

The Cabin
I-24 exit 40, west on 62,on left maybe 1-2 miles

Jetta
Exit 27, west on 62, less than a mile on right going up the hill

You can stop by Cabin 1st, continue west on 62, cross Cumberland River, stop at Knoths BBQ on left. Continue west go under I-24 and on to Jetta.

You can stop at the cabin first but save your money and finish at Fisherman's Headquarters in Draffenville! It opened Wednesday and we have already been twice Look em up online....it'll be worth your time!

Stopped at the "new"cabin once. Had a gift card I'd won.....had a hard time finding something to spend it on.

Hillman Ferry is a nice campground. With a tent, make sure you have a good ground cloth and the steel spike type stakes. No other stakes will go into the ground at the sites. You'll be setting up on rock chips.
