Spoke with a gentleman after the NBAA tournament this past weekend at Tanners Creek. He mentioned that these is a tournament Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:30 on Wednesday nights. Can anyone confirm the time?

That is correct, may not be many boats with the river the way it is right now.

Thats right Bass Hogg, Wed night 6-9:30 out of Tanners. If they have less than ten boats it's winner take all, plus Big Bass. Thursday Night out of Big Bone is also a good one they typically get 15-30 boats compared to the 10 or less Wednesday draws.
Was at the boat launch at 5:45...nobody was there at 6 so decided just to go fun fishing. River is crazy high right now.

Yeah and if you can get your boat into a certian shallow creek between Big Bone and Craigs, you can catch a bunch of large pond bass stocked by a couple of the local yahoos.
There is no contact info for the Wed night tournamnet... It pretty much a Hillbilly kind of thing really. My guess no one showed up cause of the poor river conditions.
Let us know whick creek. I'm sure a few of us could ruin their tournament day by catching their pond bass...... Dan

I haven't fished it but I think the entry is 30 and you can fish alone or with a partner.
that is good. I will definately be attending some this summer, just not ready to donite my money tomorrow yet.
