If you go and stick a bunch of big fish on a spot the day before the tournament, do not be so shocked when they are not biting the next day![]()

From the title of the thread, I thought I was going to be getting some useful advice. It is good to hear there are people that need more help than me.
guess you did not do well in the make a wish tournament.
at least you got there my partners truck crapped out and by the time i backtracked to Louisville to get him we missed take off so we just donated our entry fee to the charity and fun fished our best 5 around 14 pounds , guessing we didn't weigh them though.

AAAAAAND yet another great idea proven wrong.![]()
Basically, I got to my spot first, knew there were big fish there just a matter of not missing any bites. But, it was slower thasn usual. About three hours into it this guy who was hovering around us came over and said "I stumbled upon this spot yesterday, you guys catching any?" He said "I had a 6,5, and couple of 4's here yestersday, I am fishing a small tourney today." So he basically burned them all up the day before.

BOATLESS....
I don't find it very funny. We shoulda whipped that old man. "I caught a 6, 2 4's, and a few over three. I don't know why they aren't biting." I wanted to puke in my mouth... I really don't think he understood why he wasn't catching them

I am over it, he was probably just some misguided person trying to have some fun. I was mad, but I don't own the lake and I will have to do a better job of finding more fish next time.
You gotta love guys like that. Don't know if you guys heard but the team that won the wish tourney saturday also won the got 2 love it tourney there on sunday with 20 pounds. They were on a really good deep water bite all weekend,i fished in the same area they were in. Had my chance to beat em but broke off a toad when she wrapped me around a stump. Second place team sunday was on em too, they finished either second or third saturday in the wish.

Good friends of mien charlie Hentrup and John Schoreing won both days. They had 19 and change Saturday and 20 and change Sunday. They are without a doubt the best team up there. Kelly and Kenny Ingle is the other team you were referring to. They are awful good up there, but I wouldn't quite put them with Charlie and John. They do fish deep most of the time. With the exception of early spring you just cant hardly win up there unless you go offshore. Hats off to them they caught them good!!![]()
