Any word on how Green looks? Water levels, color, anyone catching anything?
I put in Friday at 10 am and only fished for about 4 hours. The water was clear and 38.5 degrees. There was a large section of ice (3 acres in size) just down stream from Holmes Bend. Between the sun, wind and boat traffic the large mass was gone at 2 pm when I pulled out. Warmest water I found was 40.1 and that was on a rock bank the gets sun most of the day.
Hopefully the forecast will hold up and we will get a warm rain Tuesday night and Wednesday. I had zero bites but was not expecting much given the conditions. I am on spring break all next week and will be fishing...if the water does not warm up I will be out joying riding and wetting a line
I'm thinking about going Monday. If I do I'll let you know what happens.
