    New navionics chip

For those interested and haven't seen this yet, the 2010 premium platinum chips added 6 more lakes in HD in Ky. Green, Herrington, Nolin, Rough, Taylorsville and Yatesville have been added according to the Navionics site.

Will it work in a LMS520 and how much are they? Are they doing trade ins on the older chips?

Yes they work anywhere the old ones will. As far as trade-ins, I have no idea you'll have to check with BPS or something. There is also an update for the 520(I don't know about other units) where you can do the 2d and 3d views on it like the HDS's have. Just saw that last night.

Correction on this. You can get the 2D views with the Premium chip and 3D views with the platinum.
