    David Durn or David Durm
    White pages results.....nadda.

If anybody knows him, just IM me please.
He bought an 04 Ranger (less motor) with the transom ripped off of it from me back in 07. Seems the state of TN doesn't believe whatever he put down for "price".
They seem to want tax money and are trying to find out why it was so cheap.
AND...I don't remember what he paid for it.
Tried to call this bonehead that sent me this letter, and explain, but, his name is "Aiad Aiad" (no shi..!)
It was just like talking to Direcway when my satelite internet goes down...
Not sure if he didn't understand, wasn't listening, didn't care, or couldn't comprehend how a boat with no motor and the transom ripped off of it....just wasn't worth $25k.

Anyway, anybody knows the guy, get ahold of me please. I'm just trying to help him out.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

I dealt with Aiad before on a boat deal. Kidding aside this guy means business. A friend of mine was contacted by him on a boat he bought for a low price. It doesnt matter what you say he paid for it, they go by book value. after court cost, attorneys fees and alot of hassle he was out almost $8,000 I was only out $700

He is not a joke and unless you have signed dated and notarized bill of sale for said amount of money and proof of deposits and cancelled checks, someone is paying the tax on the book value. Sorry, but they are tired of "Bubba" buying a boat for 10K and saying they paid 5k for it. I went through it too when I bought one with a blown motor. Thank goodness I kept all my signed paperwork and bank info.

I paid $87 I think for my tax when I bought mine. i used the "Bubba" method like a lot of people and I don't feel bad (in case anyone gives me a hard time.) But I think it was before they hired Aiiad. And we were talking not a lot of money I paid for it

I think it states that if the sale price is below 75% of the book, you have to have a valid reason as to why. Seems like they did it to cars here to.

The thing I never got was that taxes were paid on all these boats, vehicles, etc. ONCE when they were new. Why is double taxation okay now????
