Barren is still mostly muddy until you get above the old roadbed in Skaggs. I have not been below the Narrows - haven't needed to. I have been for a couple of hours 3 days this week and have caught lots of fish, just not much size. I did catch a 4 pound smallmouth Monday. Today I managed a small limit from about 3 to 5 pm. The water is 47 degrees around the Narrows, warmer up the creeks. Be careful though, the water is dropping and it gets dangerous out of the channel.
