We went to Lexvegas to celebrate one of the boy's 16th burpdays.....from southern Lincoln all the way to northern Garrard the toll from the ice storm was shocking. Last weekend when we went to Loserville everything was still covered in ice, today there were branches and tree tops everywhere. We went straight up US 27 and it reminded me of tornado damage. Hall's Gap Hill was closed for debris removal and the old road detour was hazardous (barely one lane in places). Jessamine Co. wasn't terrible nor was Fayette, what we saw anyway. I noticed several trees down on my dad's farm in Garrard Co., literally thousands missing the tops along the way. My nephew just got his electricity back tonight around 6......
