A friend I used to work with and I went to Barren. The weather was great, trees full of color and even caught a couple fish. Fishing was slow but we got to see a nice mature bald eagle, a few deer, and some sort of mink or furry critter. He did catch one good chunk. The lake is turning over in the creeks and the river around the walnut creek area.
