Hit Barkely (Coves over by second Devils Elbow ramp) today. Threw everything I could think of at them in every way I knew how and couldn't even get a bite.
Shellcrackers and bluegill were biting but I was looking for bass.

I think you have it figured out.
We did catch 39 panfish today though so the table fare for the weekend is good.
I am going to try and go again on Sunday. I wanna catch some bass.

No grass on Barkely. We fished Barkley last Sunday and all of our keepers came on secondary ledges, ledges in the bays.

i couldn't get a bite on grass last weekend. I caught all my fish on riprap.
