Its in all the bays on the East side and the farther South you go the more they'll have. Duncan has some but Higgins has a ton.

Skinny, naa, it's all in fun. I'm just now getting a ledge or two figured out, now it looks like I have to learn to fish grass. You know what they say about teaching old dogs.

Help this old dog. Its 100 degrees in July, no clouds , its Sunday( no current), how do you approach the grass ? I struggle so much with this situation.

get on the lake about 6pm, work the edges with a popper or frog. or work the ledges with a football jig until dark then just a super slow retrieve with a jitterbug or frog around the edges of the matted grass.

Yep, that's the ticket. You and Trent stay out on the edges of the grass on those hot 100 degree July days.

I am getting ALL up in the grass on those days with my trusty frog rod.

Take you a crank bait and run it parallel (spelling) along the edge of that grass on the main lake then just hold on.
