    Looking at a new tow vehicle

    2002 Chevy Tahoe. Loaded, towing package. champagne color, dark tinted windows, low miles. anyone know how this thing tows? i believe it has the 5.3L in it. thanks in advance..
    this may be my first experience with a chevy, ive always been a ford kind of guy, but dang this thing is nice sharp..

    Not sure about the tahoe but a 2002 suburban (5.3) 4.10 gears pulls pretty nice. Can get 14-15 pulling boat if you milk it a little. 65-68mph -- 16 and change is about as good as the mpg get though. I'm sure the tahoe would be better on gas if it had the 3.42 or 3.73 gears.

    I've got an 03 and it tows very good. witht he factory tires it gets about 18 on the interstate with the 20s it gets about 16-17. Towing it drops to about 13mpg.

    i don't drive my tow vehicles on a daily basis. thats why i bought a 92 honda accord. i can almost 3 weeks without filling up. gas really isn't a problem becuase i will only be driving it when i got fishing. im makin it just fine now and my f150 gets around 9 mpg pulling it...thanks guys

    the 5.3 is a very strong motor it will pull any bass boat out there with eez!
