Good numbers day on Dale Hollow 3-11-08

Fished with "Noodledude" today and had a great time. We ended up boating 20 Smallies and one slickhead. 3 of the Smallies were on the bobber, a first for Noodledude, (all 3 were unders!) the rest of the fish were slots and came on Football jigs in PB&J and Green fished 15-25 feet deep on main and secondary points. Fished from Lillydale to Mitchell. Doesn't look like the fish are moving too much yet as far as staging, still in their winter haunts for the most part today. No pictures today as our largest was only 4-4 and 20 1/2".

Dang what a day! I bet Steve hada blast catching that many. He thought catching 3 was awesome the day we went. what were the temps and how did the water look?

Water was clear with temps in the 43-45 range.

What a day!!! Glad ya'lll got on em! So I see they are still in the winter hunt from your report? I am going Thursday and will be back on Friday afternoon thru Sunday. My brother is coming up from Ga. I was hopin to put him on a jerkbait bite but looks like we'll be throwin a jig. I expected the water to be a bit warmer??? 2 weeks ago it was 47!!!

Jeff --- great day....was Steve's arms tired from netting them all because I should know having fished with you a few times ..... take care, thanks for the report and hope to get back out there with you soon......

Finally made it back home last night at 1:00 am. Makes for a long day. bassRN was a great fella to fish with and yes Dover he caught 2-1. We laughed all day (missed a couple because we were). The first bobber fish for me was awesome. I just can't think of any better way to spend my time catching those "ol brown fish". Jeff thanks for the invite look forward to fishing again.
