Dale Hollow Sunday

I regathered (after losing that big fish Saturday evening) and went back on Sunday solo and had an incredible day. 9 total fish. 2 over 21" (5lbs 2oz, 4lbs 14oz) and a big slick head...4lbs 12oz. The bad news...I only got one picture of fish before the camera batteries died. I kept tellin myself that was the only reason I was catchin fish!

Fish all weekend for me were mostly on main lake points in 20-40ft. Found a few on the 45 degree banks in the creeks. Water yesterday got up to 47.4 in a few spots. All fish were caught on a jig.

Last....I saw some awesome stuff with the eagles this weekend. Bullet and I saw one in a tree top swoop down about 300 yards from where it was sitting, catch a fish, and take it back up in a tree. Then yesterday, I saw two eagles working together herding them coots in the back of a creek, then swooping down and grabbing em. It was the wildest thing I've ever seen!! They worked them coots over for about 30 minutes. I just sat right in the middle of the main channel watchin it. They got skiddish if I got very close.

I was waitin on that one!!! I did get one pic. I wasted camera battery trying to get good pictures of them eagles killin coots. oh well...
