    St croix avid

BPS has these on clearance right now. I just bought a 7' MH for $126 That's a $170 rod. Just thought I would let you all know in case you haven't seen it and are in the market for a good rod. They have a better selection in the store than they do on the net too. I've heard a lot of good things about them but have never used one. Any of you guys got any experience with these?

I don't have any of the avids but I have been wanting to try one, I love my premiers for all around versitile rods.

    Re: St croix avid (fishinbrad)

I have been using St.Croix avids for about a year now and so far can't complain. 2 of them have shattered on me but they did replace those.

Their glass rods are PHENOMENAL for cranking!! (Only in Premier Model)

There return policy has turned to crap though so if I was to go with a new line at this point it would probably me Shimano Crucials. Just heard too many good stories about them and last I heard you can replace them in the store.

Is it 99.99 with 20% more off from that? Or 99.99 after the 20% off?
