Anyone fishing the BFL out of Maysville ?

I live in Maysville & have all my life ( live 2 blocks from ramp ) have won numerous tournies on river, several regional events, including 2nd in Plapps River Rumble....Won river tourney 2 weeks ago out of Aberdeen with over 9lbs of fish.....may offer some guiding around on the river, since I will not be fishing !

You need a boat & a full tank of gas...a GPS would be handy for your benefit, & if we can come to a date good for both of us, And 6 hrs fishing !

You didn't mention but I assume you have a Ky Guide License and a Captain's license issued by the Coast Guard along with commercial liability insurance. Not really my business but it might save you a big fine and financial ruin if you do not have these to be aware of it.

Then again you did not say you were going to charge anything for the guiding and if that is the case then there is not a problem...a little hard to tell from your post.

Thanks...but no thanks for your concern Dave ! I see nothing wrong with going fishing with someone in their boat & triing to help them with their fishing....I fish for a hobby & love to fish....I don t mind fishing without a personel gain ( MONEY )
I have a very good job & don t need to charge someone money to show them where to fish at....(not bashing what u do ) BUT, I don t mind helping someone out ! There is some good people left in the world !

Good that you help folks out. You do need to know that Dave was just trying to make sure you didn't get into trouble. By the way...Dave Stewart is one of the good people left in this world!

Was not trying to tick you off...you said you were thinking about guiding and I thought you should know about the licenses and the liabilities in the event you had not checked into it...that is all. I think it is great you are offering to guide folks on your tournament waters for free. I too was just trying to help someone out...obviously I should have just kept my mouth shut.
