    Trolling Motor for sale

I have a OMC Evinrude trolling motor for sale. This motor does need some repair. It is a 99 model 56lbs 24V variable speed with a spare prop that has never been in water. I still have the owners manual that came with it new in 99. I have been in contact with a person that has told me he could refurbish the motor for $125 or put new brushes in it for $35. I have no idea what is wrong with the motor or what it will take to fix it. The motor will spin the prop very slow on high speed and you have nothing on the lower speeds. The prop seems to be dragging and struggling to turn. This motor will also need a new plug. My new motor did not come with a plug so I took it off and put the plug on my new motor. I am asking $75 I am sure this motor is repairable anybody interested.

I remember you said you were going to ask some of your buddies in the bass club. Its just lying in the garage taking up space so I thought I would try to move it. If you think one of them might be interested put the word out.

Re: Trolling Motor for sale (JR19)

Do you know the model # , and would consider selling parts from it? I am looking for parts, cable from the foot peddle or both the foot peddle and cabling, for my Evenrude trolling motor (my trolling motors model # is BFL4TPH). Actual motor mine works fine, but the cable from the foot peddle snapped, or something, now the steering won't work. Live in Phoenix AZ, so by just getting these parts, I might save in shipping costs. Thanks

Is the spare prop the large prop? I need a spare.

Re: Trolling Motor for sale (Roddyrude)

Model number is BFL4TPH.99 I really don't wont to part this motor out. If all you have done is broke the steering cables that is an easy fix. You can still get replacement cables fo those motors just check at a BRP/ Johnson Evinrude dealer. If you want to use a BBC board sponsor try C@O Marine or Jones Trolling motor service. I will gladly sell you my whole unit but it sounds like all you need is replacement cables.

As for the spare prop it is the small diameter the big one is on the motor.

I know you don't want to part it but I'll give you $20.00 for the spare small prop. I'd take the whole thing but I already have 3 of them.
