To the Indiana guys that fish the IBF invitational trail, it was announced at the Dec. State meeting that the board of directors had voted to re-install an off-limits for Sun-Thurs for the IBF this year. I asked them if it was definitely going to happen this year, and the T-director said it was voted in and would be there. Now when the flyers come out, hey, no off-limits again this year. After a few emails with the IBF Pres , I was pretty much told that they were worried about getting #'s back up and they decided it was better to take the off limits back off. I had decided I would not fish it anymore,. Tonight I got a voice mail from a zone director that said they were still working on it and it was changed behind the directors backs and if we wanted to get it back in, we need to be at the State meeting on Saturday to voice our opinion. If anyone is interested in this issue, please go to the meeting and try to help with it.
I know that some folks like no offd limits, but for those of us that work for a living and aren't retired or have a sugar momma at home, it is getting hard to compete with what I consider full time fishermen. I have to deal with this in the BFL's, but the IBF had always had an off limits before and it worked fine and kept the playing field evev, I know this is only my opinion, but just thought I would pass the issue on and see if anyone else wanted to show up and help the cause...
