Hi guys just wanted to know how hard and what parts would I need to rebuild the carburetors on my 1996 Intruder e150gledm. I just tore down two lawn tractors and could not believe how this gas is making a mess out of things when they sit too long. So now I am worried that my boat will need the same thing as a preventive maintenance so I don't hurt my motor by causing it to run too lean. Any help would be great.
6 carb kits and get the factory manual.

well still have not done the carb rebuild just need to know how hard it is and the best way to do it. What is the cost for parts to do it right.

So do i need just the carb rebuild kit and is that one kit for each carb. or does one kit do all six. How hard is the job.
Price is per carb approx ~$30.00 per kit you;; need six and ~$20.00 per float bowl and you'll need 6 of them. Not that hard to do.
Going through same thing with my 93 150 intruder. Leaking carbs on bottom. Rebuilding all six on advice of championman. Bought carb kits and new bowls from marineengine for 190 shipped. Never done a carb before but got parts today and have rebuilt 3 so far. It has been easier than i thought. Carbs came off easy and just replaced everything in kit that came off mine. If all works when done I will save a ton....
