Ranger Tandem Trailer Seals Replacement

I have a 2007 tandem trailer from Ranger. I noticed the seals on the right side are leaking. I am in the process of replacing them and had a couple of questions.

1. Is there an easier way of removing the seals other than destroying them. I have removed one and there wasn't much left of it after I was finished.

2. When I replace the bearings do I pack them? I have the Cool Hubs, the ones with the black rubber plug. Or are they just lubed by the Cool Hub oil?

There is a lot of information here on the replacement of the seals but I did not see anything on the removal or weather or not I need to greese the bearings.

You will need to replace the seals. Virtually no way to remove them without damage.

No need to pack the bearings. The oil will take care of that.

Foe those that don't know, when you get ready to reinstall the cap, put the black rubber plug back in, fill the cap to the brim with oil, ease it up to the hub, and quickly turn it up and screw it on (might want to replace the O-rings on those too while you are at it). You will lose very little oil if done quickly, and your hubs will be almost completely full when complete.

Let the oil settle for a while, then remove the black plug and oil to top it off. Oil should come up to the bottom of the hole.
