    Replacing actuator shock

    in the middle of changing actuator shock,,,, have brake line aloose,,,front pin removed nearest to coupler,,,,,rear pin snap rings removed,and pin only moves about 1/8 inch,either way,,,,am i missing something are do you think pin would be seized going through master cyl.,shock and rollers,,,,,have it spray lubed and sitting until, i can possibly get some insite,,,,thanks in advance.

    Get a bigger hammer. Seriously.

    Inside they're just an unconnected cylindrical pin. Sometime they are a little sticky to get out.
    So many honey-dos . . . . . so little motivation

    +1Had the same problem. Ended up using a 3 lb sledge and socket to match the pin size. Had to hit hard and drive it most of the way out before it became loose. Good luck.

    thanks,,,,,keeping it soaked,,,,big friggin hammer on hand,,,,,appears to be seized going through master cylinder,,,,,, may try shallow socket, over one end and use c clamp to push on pin,,,,,

    careful not to mushroom the edges. Hit it in the center or you won't be able to put the snap rings back on.
