    Go Jacks

For you guys that use them to position your trailer, for dual axle trailers are you using 2 or 4? I just ordered 2 and was wondering if I need to go back and get 2 more. I was thinking about getting 2 cheaper ones if I have to get more and put a Go Jack brand jack on each side augmented by the cheaper one.

two are fine if all you're doing is turning it to line it up with the garage. Now if you want to push the trailer sideways you'll need 4.

I got two from Harbor Freight. Moves mine around just fine.

I use 2 , that's all I need to make it easy to turn the boat and roll it where I want it. I have heard nothing but bad things about the cheaper ones but can say for sure the Go Jacks are great!

I am using 4. I bought the ones that harbor freight has. I started with 2 and it worked really well for turning the tandem trailer. Once I saw how well they worked, I purchased 2 more to give me more flexibility. Glad I did. And for the price (If you watch for when they go on sale you can pick them up for cheap. I paid 59.99 for each.), it was money well spent!

Two will get it done. I put mine on the front tires, and it moves like a breeze!

    Re: Go Jacks (jerzia)

I put the 2 go jacks on both the front and rear wheels (one one each side). I was not able to move the boat sideways so I bought 2 more of the cheaper ones. My main concern with the cheaper ones was the casters. Hopefully with a go jack brand and cheaper brand on each side it will work.

    Re: Go Jacks (NCFatBoy)

The way my drive is, I have to push my boat in my garage by hand. Wasn't a big deal until I just upgraded boats and my new trailer is a tandem axle. Does Go Jacks make it easier to push the boat around by hand? Right now I can't put the boat up by myself. Thanks.

Depending on how many jack you get, yes it will make it easier. If you get two for a tandem, it basically turns it into a single axel trailer and makes it turn much easier. I have found by using one on each wheel, it is much easier to push and can push it in any direction. (Sometimes this is good, other times not so much) However I have also found that if you have any areas of concreate that has a crack, the dolly wheels are not large enough to push over the crack. For example, the concrete between the garage slab and driveway is large enough that I cannot push the dolly wheels over it.
