I bought this boat used in 2006.

This year I made the decision it was time to replace the tires. When I pulled the wheels off I noticed the following:

-The hub is flat faced (no hub centric centering shoulder on the hub)
-The wheel nut seats aren't tapered, or ball seat. They appear to be meant for flat faced lug nuts.
-The actual lug nuts themselves are shouldered, with huge random (lock?) washers behind them (the shoulders bottom out against the hub without the washers...)
-Finally, the wheel lug holes look to be oblong, IE, not round.

So, as you can see, I have a mess on my hands. (Don't ask why it took me 5 years to notice...)

As it currently stands I have neither a hub centric or lug centric set up, and obviously the wrong lug nuts, period. The trailer pulled and rode like a dreamboat on the highway, which now seems to me a miracle.

My question: What type of wheel/hub set up did this boat originally have? Secondly, considering my current situation, what are my options, and what would everyone recommend?

I'm going to post this same post in the trailer forum as well.

Thanks to everyone in advance.
