    Trailer Backup Lights

Below is a picture of the rear of my TR-20 trailer. The red arrow points to the tiny and basically useless factory backup light - there's one on each side. Needless to say, I need more light for my tired old eyes to see at night. I've thought about adding a set of docking lights, but I'm not sure what to buy or where to put them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I bought some of Mikes Blue Water white LED strips and put them on the back of my trailer. They work OK, If I were you, Just above your tail lights, I would measure how long of a strip would fit from your old lights wrapping around the corner to the back of the fender and get some of Mikes strips. Tapping into your existing back up lights/wiring. This will put some light behind you as well as some on the sides.

Look at the Ranger Z model boats and they have 2 inch round back up lights and they really shine good at night backing down a dark ramp. You could get 2 of these light and build a bracket to come off the side back of your trailer to hold the lights one on each side and wire them up to your existing back up light wires.

Try some waterproof fog lights. I think those back-up lights on trailers are meant for a visual warning anyway.

I agree, check with Bass Cat, they have a rectangular spotlight that mounts under the trailer frame and lights everything up and its priced reasonably, its water and shock proof also. I have one mounted under my trailer at the rear and it works great...2 would even be better.
