So to make a long nighmare story short my buddie was on his way home from a long road trip and both of his hubs (berrings) on one side of the trailer went bad. it is a e z loader tandem axle bunk trailer. before he left on the trip we did the bacics greased the hubs and checked the tire pressure. so after a long day of getting parts and replacing everything at a rest stop in the middle of nowhere we got it back on the road. so we got back a home and started checking everything else out and talked to a guy at a trailer shop and he said that the problem was prob that the hubs got over greased. he said the way those hubs were designed is the space between the berrings was to cool the berrings and if there is to much grease in there the berrings cant cool. i guess that kinda makes sense but how are you sapose to know how much grease to put in then there are grease zirks on the end of the axle and i have always pumped grease in on all my trailers until some of the old stuff came out and called it good and never had a problem. I am concerned cuz i have the same excact trailer as my buddie. any thoughts would be great thanks guys![]()
