PT wood and aluminum boat?

Recently (this yr) replaced bunks and covered with Marine carpet and SS hardware. Read about possible corrosion b/w PT lumber and aluminum? Should I be concerned if covered in carpet? Is this true

i build trailers for triton...we have switched from pt lumber for this reason...even if it is carpeted it will pit the aluminum...

Could I add the screw on plastic/pvc? glides and be safe?

i would say so since the actual boat wouldnt be sitting on the wood itself...if you could find a small piece of aluminum and lay a piece of pt wood on it for a week or 2 you would see what happens...not pretty..
