    Replacing Trailer Bunks

    Hey Everyone,
Fairly new to the board and couldn't find any old posts regarding this subject. My question is that I need to replace the brackets on a few of my trailer bunks. I just figured that I would replace the whole bunk while I'm at it. However, what is the best wood to used for this? Do they make a synthetic trailer bunk? I have seen precarpeted bunks at BPS but they are too thin and short for my trailer. Even if someone could direct me to a link that would be great. Thanks in advance for the help.

    Re: Replacing Trailer Bunks (Sfritr)

    Pressure treated wood - 2x6 or 2x4
You have to use stainless steel staples.
They do make synthetic bunks ----

I called Ranger and ordered my brackets - and just recarpeted.
