    No paperwork !!!!

    Hi looking to buy a trailer, the guy doesnt have any paperwork. He says to get it weighed at a scrap yard, an bring the paper to the DMV an they'll register it. Is it me or does this sound shaky?

    That is how it works in some states,for a home made one,if it has been previously titled,I would think he has to file for a lost title!
