I will be here in western Kentucky near Kentucky Lake.

I will also go to central TN, and Southern Indiana.

mikeSF - it looks like you shouldn't have a problem getting to that caged bird!


I'll be hunting in central southern MI, at the same spot I've hunted for years. Hopefully this will be year #5 for a first morning bird.

Those caged birds roost in the tall oaks along the river that circles behind our neighborhood. For some reason they started walking through our back yards a few years ago. i think its cause so many of us have bird feeders and they congregate around them for an easy meal..maybe!

Absolutely the feeders. I'm not sure why they don't hit it year round, but at my dad's house they are there like clock work in the spring. Right up until the day before hunting season.
